An Open Letter to Our Valued Clients, Associates and Business Partners Regarding COVID-19

open letter-01

The World Health Organization has now declared that COVID-19 is a global pandemic.  We know that concern is growing regarding its impact on our families and friends, our places of business, and our overall economy.  Precautionary measures have caused all of us to make adjustments in nearly every aspect of our lives.

nextSource wants to assure our clients, associates, business partners and the communities in which we serve that we have taken steps to protect your safety and security, and we will continue to provide “business as usual” service and maintain normal business operations.

In extreme situations like this, communication is key.  We have reached out to all of our valued clients to understand their specific COVID-19 initiatives, and have ensured that our suppliers, technology partners and contract associates are in full compliance with each client’s desired approach. We have reviewed each associates’ role with our clients’ hiring managers to develop options for those positions that cannot be performed remotely.  We are assuring that all associates assigned to work remotely have the necessary tools to do so.  Each client team conducts daily check-ins to ensure that there is no degradation in the level of service being provided. We recognize that the situation is rapidly changing, and so we continue to communicate any changes to client plans or nextSource policies to our stakeholders.

Precaution is equally important.  We are headquartered in New York City with offices in other major metropolitan areas.  Many of our employees commute to work via public transportation.  To ensure their safety and well-being, we have asked all employees to work remotely.  We are extremely fortunate to be able to provide the tools and procedures needed to enable our employees to perform all of their duties remotely.  We have also curtailed non-critical travel, opting wherever possible for online conferences and meetings.  Of course, although our employees have been encouraged to work from home, we have also taken steps to ensure that our office facilities undergo a deep cleaning on a daily basis.  And, we continue to update our employees on hygiene steps that minimize the possibility of infection.

The third element of our business continuity plan is anticipation. nextSource is actively monitoring the development and spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus. Precautionary steps are based on guidance from the World Health Organization and CDC as well as federal and local authorities in each of the locations in which we serve our clients.  We have asked our suppliers to take proactive steps to rapidly respond to any client requests for incremental resources.  We have established a service desk dedicated to addressing any COVID-19 or flu-related issues and our Senior Leadership Team monitors all inquiries and issues each day.  We will continue to enhance our procedures, as necessary, to make sure we are acting in the best interests of our clients, employees, associates and business partners.  As things progress, we will immediately communicate any changes to our business continuity plan and/or potential impact to our business.

Questions regarding nextSource’ response to this pandemic can be addressed to covid19@nextsource.com or you can call our toll-free hotline at (888) 488-8284.  The hotline is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET Monday through Friday.  The hotline will also be monitored for messages left after hours.  All questions and issues will be tracked to ensure rapid and complete resolution.

Stay well!
