  1. What personally identifiable information do we collect from you?

We collect information in several ways from different parts of the Website. Some personally identifiable information is gathered when you register for one of our many services. During registration, we ask for information such as your individual/company name, mailing address, email address, phone numbers and the like. With respect to employers and employment agencies (“clients”), we also ask for detailed job assignment information. With respect to professionals seeking employment or projects, we also ask for your resume, professional skills, work history, education, certifications, test results and contact information of one or more professional references to assist us in the screening process. The more information you provide (and the more accurate it is), the better we may be able to help you and customize your experience. Once you apply for membership, you are no longer anonymous to us - you will receive an applicant ID and password allowing you to access the applicant auction and bid on those contracts and positions made available to you. As an applicant your bid will go to a nextSource career broker who will contact you to begin your screening process for membership into the nextSource network. Upon securing your membership, your bid will be released to the clients participating in the auction and you will gain access to the nextSource member auction and take advantage of the features of the Website.

We may also ask you for personally identifiable information at other times, including when you report a problem with our site or services. If you contact nextSource, we may keep a record of that correspondence. nextSource may also occasionally ask users to complete surveys that we use for research purposes. Wherever nextSource collects personal information, we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

  2. What are cookies and how do we use them?

As part of offering and providing customizable and personalized services, nextSource may use cookies to store and sometimes track information about you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. All areas of nextSource where you are prompted to log-in require that you accept cookies.

Generally, we may use cookies to:

    1. Remind us of who you are and to access your account information (stored on our computers) to deliver to you a better and more personalized service. Cookies enable us to have users log in securely without having to re-enter information every time they access the system. This will increase the efficiency of working within the nextSource system.
    2. Estimate our audience size. Each browser accessing nextSource is given a unique cookie which is then used to determine the extent of repeat usage and to help us communicate with you. This information collected by cookies is sometimes called “clickstream” or “click trail” and may also describe which pages you have seen.
    3. Measure certain traffic patterns, which areas of the nextSource web site you have visited, and your visiting patterns in the aggregate. We use this research to understand how our users’ habits are similar or different from one another so that we can make each new experience on nextSource a better one.
