nextSource Partners with the Multiple Listing Staffing Association™ (MLSA)

NEW YORK, April 16, 2002 — nextSource, Inc., a leading provider of human capital and services spend management solutions and the Multiple Listing Staffing Association (MLSA) are now working together through an agency partnership to provide a platform that allows staffing firms to work jointly on job openings--a process similar to the highly successful Real Estate MLS (Multiple Listing Services).

"We see a fragmented industry in an economic downturn that is now forcing the staffing industry to evolve," said nextSource president and CEO, Joseph Musacchio. "Today's agencies are faced with the arduous task of becoming an approved vendor at larger customers, and are fighting for survival against much needed vendor management programs and master vendor contracts. The opportunities for the small and medium sized agencies are shrinking, and the need for stronger cooperation in our industry is needed. We feel the MLSA provides a low-cost vehicle for agencies to achieve collective successes."

nextSource's MLSA members have the opportunity to submit candidates to a constant stream of openings posted on the nextSource job board by other MLSA members and by corporate job posters. In addition, MLSA members enjoy continuous candidate flow from other MLSA members as well as the non-represented job seeker. Utilizing the nextSource board to post their openings, MLSA members simply choose how much of the fee they will share for a permanent placement, or how much they are willing to pay for a consultant. They also have the opportunity to work on client-posted jobs, an option in the past that few services made available.

nextSource also offers its customers a patented reverse auction for consultants. Posting an opening will bring the employer a pre-qualified, pre-screened bidder who is a member of the Registry of Certified Consultants™ (The ROCC).

Another benefit offered to members of nextSource's MLSA is access to The PeopleTicker™, a dynamic, interactive web-based database of rates and salaries, based on skill set, years of experience, and geographic location-updated every 15 minutes (available June 1, 2002).
