nextSource Welcomes Bart Nasta, Director of Implementations
June 6, 2016  |

nextSource welcomes Bart Nasta, Director of Implementations. Bart has over 20 years of industry experience ranging from large scale IT systems implementations, IT Outsourcing, and throughout his career, workforce management.  Bart has lead multiple large Managed Services Programs (MSPs) that have effectively helped clients improve access to quality talent, improve visibility, introduce program efficiencies, lead to more competitive pricing, savings and cost management, and, as he has often said,  the unsung hero of these programs is consolidated invoicing.

Bart has a deep knowledge of best practices in project management, program operations and technology configuration that he adapts to the unique needs of each client, while introducing best practices. Under his leadership, Bart has overseen large enterprise implementations such as a mainframe re-platforming project while at Perot Systems, and overseeing system consolidations associated with mergers within the financial brokerage space. He has experience as a hiring manager, independent consultant, and early in his career, overseeing sales and recruiting: these roles really help Bart to understand how needs vary across the human capital spectrum.

We sat down with him to learn more about his goals and what he plans to bring to nextSource. Here’s what he said:

Q: How long have you been in the industry?
A: I’ve been involved in the staffing industry for a total of 9 years, 4 of them directly in the MSP niche. I consider myself a generalist with experience in a variety of industries and a variety of roles, which really helps me identify directly with internal and external customers alike.

Q: What are some examples of your work?
A: I served in a leadership capacity for a large IT Outsourcing Program while at Perot Systems, where I managed over 300 employees and lead a mainframe migration project for a medical supply distribution company. I’ve also managed numerous financial conversions and mergers involving billions of dollars of assets. And on final example, I led the migration of a call center for a major insurer, which included over 1000 call center agents and the associated back-end technology.

Q: What are some previous positions you’ve held in your career?
A: I’ve held positions in sales, project management, in management and leadership, and as a consultant.

Q: What is your passion?
A: Bridging an idea to a game plan and then to ultimately deliver a solution. I love to learn about the uniqueness of each client: their business objectives, their corporate culture, their challenges, and their goals. I am continually amazed at the level of detail and nuance that go into an implementation, which is necessary because it’s all about successfully navigating change management.

Q: What are the different industries you have experience working in?
A: Healthcare, Finance, Human capital, Light industrial, Insurance, and Communications.

Q: What are your goals for nextSource?
A: There is a balancing act between delivering on current commitments while building repeatable and scalable processes in the name of continuous improvement. On one hand, it’s all about the customer and being consultative, while leading and introducing best practices on the other hand. My goal expands a bit on the cliché which is to deliver on time and on budget, both of which remain vitally imperative to nextSource’s goals. Above all, to deliver a paramount solution with most suitable roadmap, to guide our clients to success.
