Laurence J. Footer

Laurence J. Footer is the founder and chief executive officer of WebRecruiter LLC, a leading provider of workforce management software to many of the World�s largest corporations including Halliburton, Merrill Lynch, AstraZeneca, Ericsson and Airbus. Most notably, Mr. Footer and his company played a key role in enabling Halliburton to automate the acquisition and deployment of approximately 75,000 contractors to Iraq and Afghanistan on support of the U.S. War on Terror. Prior to founding WebRecruiter in 1994, Laurence worked as an investment analyst for a private equity firm.
Mr. Footer also has an affinity to volunteerism. In the wake of September 11, 2001, he set up the Ground Hero Foundation, a 501(C)3 not-for-profit corporation to assist in the recovery effort in lower Manhattan. Moreover, Laurence serves on the Board of Directors of the Lower Manhattan Community Emergency Response Team, a program managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security to educate people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills.
Laurence Footer is currently enrolled at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies pursuing a Masters of International Public Policy degree. He received his Bachelor�s of Business Administration degree from the George Washington University in 1994.
Mr. Footer resides in both New York City and Washington DC.
